Solar & Energy Storage
Panels, inverters, battery storage, and solar cables for commercial and industrial installations
Solar & Energy Storage

COPPERCORE supplies solar and energy storage equipment for commercial and industrial projects across Serbia. Our product range covers the full solar value chain -- from photovoltaic panels and inverters to battery energy storage systems (BESS) and the specialized cabling that connects them. We work with established manufacturers to deliver equipment rated for the demands of industrial rooftops, logistics centers, manufacturing facilities, and ground-mounted solar farms.
Our approach is consultation-based. Rather than off-the-shelf retail packages, we support project-level procurement where system integrators, EPC contractors, and facility owners can specify equipment matched to their load profiles, grid connection requirements, and site conditions. Whether you are planning a 100 kWp rooftop installation or a multi-megawatt ground-mounted plant, we can source the right combination of panels, inverters, storage, and balance-of-system components.
For residential and small commercial inquiries, we can also supply panels and inverters in smaller quantities -- contact us to discuss your requirements.
Solar Panels

Photovoltaic panels are the starting point of every solar installation. We supply monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels in power ratings from 400 W to 700 W per module, covering the full range of current-generation panel technology. Monocrystalline panels offer higher efficiency per square meter -- typically 20% to 23% -- making them the preferred choice when roof area is constrained or maximum energy yield per panel is required.
For commercial and industrial projects, panel selection goes beyond simple wattage. Key considerations include temperature coefficients (critical for Serbian summers where module temperatures can exceed 60 degrees C), mechanical load ratings for wind and snow, and degradation warranties that protect long-term energy yield. We supply panels rated for both 1000 V and 1500 V DC system voltages, with the higher voltage class enabling longer strings and reduced cabling costs on larger installations.
Application scenario: A 500 kWp warehouse rooftop installation using 700 W monocrystalline panels requires approximately 715 modules. At 23% efficiency, this system can generate over 600 MWh annually in Serbian irradiance conditions, offsetting a significant portion of the facility's electricity consumption and reducing exposure to rising grid tariffs.
Inverters

Inverters convert the DC power generated by solar panels into grid-compatible AC power. The inverter is the active intelligence of the solar system -- managing maximum power point tracking (MPPT) to optimize energy harvest, providing grid synchronization, and monitoring system performance in real time. We supply string inverters, central inverters, and hybrid inverters covering the full commercial and industrial power range from 5 kW to 250 kW per unit.
String inverters are the standard choice for commercial rooftop installations, offering flexibility in system design and simplified maintenance. Each string inverter handles one or more panel strings independently, which means partial shading or panel mismatch on one string does not affect the output of others. For larger utility-scale installations, central inverters consolidate multiple strings into a single high-power conversion unit, reducing per-watt cost and simplifying the DC collection architecture.
Application scenario: A commercial building with 200 kWp of rooftop solar might deploy four 50 kW string inverters, each managing independent roof sections with different orientations. The inverters communicate via RS485 or Modbus to a central monitoring system, providing real-time visibility into per-string performance, fault detection, and energy production logging for regulatory compliance.
Battery Energy Storage (BESS)

Battery energy storage systems allow commercial and industrial facilities to decouple energy generation from consumption. Rather than feeding surplus solar production back to the grid at unfavorable rates, a BESS stores excess energy for use during peak demand periods -- reducing demand charges, providing backup power during outages, and enabling participation in grid balancing services. For solar installations, storage transforms an intermittent energy source into a dispatchable asset.
The technology standard for commercial BESS is LFP (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry. LFP cells offer over 6,000 charge-discharge cycles, excellent thermal stability without the thermal runaway risks associated with NMC chemistries, and contain no cobalt -- simplifying supply chain ethics and reducing long-term cost. Modern containerized BESS units are delivered as pre-assembled, pre-tested systems that integrate battery modules, power conversion, thermal management, and fire suppression into a standard 20-foot shipping container form factor.
Application scenario: An industrial facility with a 1 MW solar installation and significant daytime load variation can deploy a BESS for peak shaving -- storing solar energy during low-demand periods and discharging during peak hours to reduce maximum demand charges. With Serbian electricity tariff structures that penalize peak demand, the payback period on a properly sized BESS can be competitive with grid-only supply.
exeron X-BESS 8
Specifications as of Q1 2026
Through our partnership with exeron, we offer access to their modular BESS portfolio for the Serbian industrial market. The containerized form factor and modular architecture mean that storage capacity can be scaled incrementally as energy requirements grow -- starting with a single unit and expanding to multi-container installations without redesigning the system architecture.
Solar Cables & Accessories

Solar DC cables are the critical link between panels and inverters, operating continuously under UV exposure, temperature extremes, and mechanical stress. The standard solar cable type is H1Z2Z2-K, rated for 1.5 kV DC with a temperature range of -40 degrees C to +90 degrees C. These cables are designed specifically for photovoltaic installations with double insulation, UV-resistant outer sheath, and halogen-free construction.
We supply solar DC cables in cross-sections from 4 mm2 to 10 mm2 along with MC4-compatible connectors, DC string combiners, and surge protection devices. Proper cable sizing is essential for minimizing DC losses -- particularly on larger installations where cable runs between distant panel strings and the inverter can exceed 50 meters.
