Overhead Lines
Overhead lines for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy — bare aluminium, aluminium-alloy and aluminium-steel conductors, along with self-supporting overhead cables. Different constructions are chosen for their balance of mechanical strength, current capacity and corrosion resistance. The group is completed by galvanised steel wire for line protection and earthing.

All-aluminium-alloy conductor (AAAC) of Al-Mg-Si alloy for overhead lines, to EN 50182 (AL3).

All-aluminium stranded conductor (AAC · JUS Al uže) for overhead lines, min. 99.7% purity, to EN 50182 / DIN 48204.

Aluminium conductor alloy-reinforced (ACAR): 1350 aluminium (A1) over a high-strength Al-Mg-Si 6201 alloy core (A2), to IEC 61089.

Aluminium conductor steel-reinforced (ACSR · JUS Al-Fe uže) for overhead lines: aluminium conductor reinforced with a galvanized steel core.

Aluminium conductor steel-supported (ACSS): fully-annealed aluminium over a coated steel core; operation to 250 °C.

FR-N1XD4-AR (X00-A) and FR-N1XD9-AR (X00/0-A), XLPE insulated aerial bundled cables 0.6/1 kV.

Galvanized steel wire strand (GSW) made from hard-drawn round steel wires, concentrically stranded for overhead electrical lines.

Overhead power cable 0.6/1 kV with aluminium conductors, PE insulated (JUS X00-A).
